World Teachers Day October 5th
This day recognises teachers as key to the achievement of the Education 2030 agenda, WTD has become the occasion to mark progress and reflect on ways to counter the remaining challenges for the promotion and investment in the teaching profession.

International day of the Girl Child October 11th
This day aims to recognise girls’ rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world. It focuses attention on the need to address the challenges girls face and to promote girls’ empowerment and the fulfilment of their human rights.
